Pulane Mota Named The Ultimate Bozza

News Café, Campus Square was popping on Saturday night to celebrate the Consol #IveArrived Ultimate Bozza, Pulane Mota.

Pulane and 40 of her closest friends, together with local media, celebs and YFM braved the cold to celebrate the good life, signalling a festive climax to a campaign that has created a lot of talk around town and on social media platforms.

The Consol #IveArrived campaign launched in November 2013, inviting regular South Africans to take advantage of the opportunity to be crowned Mzansi’s top Bozza.  All entries were finally shortlisted down to a Top 10, who faced off against each other on social media channels for the opportunity to win the party of their lifetime as well as R5,000 in Soviet clothing vouchers.

Pulane came out tops against some tough competition, and definitely showed the world why she deserved the title by rolling up in a 10-seater stretch Hummer limo on Saturday night.

Glass Bottles were popping all over News Café on Saturday night, with MC Proverb guiding the proceedings, joined by likeminded aficionados of swagger, Nomuzi Mabena and Khutso Theledi.

Jozi’s hottest young social movers and shakers were there to keep the vibe bouncing, with YFM DJ’s providing the soundtrack to a great night and early morning.

Pulane Mota Wins A Car In A 24 Hour Twitter Stand Off

An 11 week battle spanning thousands of contenders from several cities around South Africa culminated in a 24 hour Twitter stand-off where 11 finalists went head-to-head for the right to drive off in an exhilarating Citroën DS3 Cabrio.

The 11 finalists were tasked with completing a series of near-impossible challenges.
One emerged victorious as the 2013 #BackseatVJ winner was Pulane Mota
On November 27, Mota received the keys to her DS3 Cabrio at her home in Riverlea, only weeks after receiving her driver’s licence.

Her close friends and family gathered at her house and the entire neighbourhood was alive with excitement as the streets filled up with elated bystanders as Mota, lost for words and with tears in her eyes, sat in the driver’s seat – gripping the steering wheel of her silver and black Citroen DS3 Cabrio – It was love at first sight.

After a jubilant morning behind the camera, Mota emerges ready for life.
Her bright future has officially begun as she embarks on her journey towards fame.
