An 11 week battle spanning thousands of contenders from several cities around South Africa culminated in a 24 hour Twitter stand-off where 11 finalists went head-to-head for the right to drive off in an exhilarating Citroën DS3 Cabrio.
The 11 finalists were tasked with completing a series of near-impossible challenges.
One emerged victorious as the 2013 #BackseatVJ winner was Pulane Mota
On November 27, Mota received the keys to her DS3 Cabrio at her home in Riverlea, only weeks after receiving her driver’s licence.
Her close friends and family gathered at her house and the entire neighbourhood was alive with excitement as the streets filled up with elated bystanders as Mota, lost for words and with tears in her eyes, sat in the driver’s seat – gripping the steering wheel of her silver and black Citroen DS3 Cabrio – It was love at first sight.
After a jubilant morning behind the camera, Mota emerges ready for life.
Her bright future has officially begun as she embarks on her journey towards fame.
