The Taxi Chronicles

We have to be thankful for taxis because they take us to where we need to be but it becomes a problem when people think that they own shares in a taxi, sitting like they own the taxi or they get commision for having an attitude.

I am not saying I am better than anyone else that takes a taxi but at the end of the day, can we all have mutual respect for each other, if you know you getting off the corner why would you want to sit at the back and by the corner window and then inconvenience people t get off so that you can get off.

Then you get the ones that sit by the door and when the taxi stops they look away because they refuse to open the door for you, can they please move their asses to the back!!!

Not forgetting those whose asses are glued onto the seats, when you need to get off the taxi they will only move their legs and that time I think to myself but do these people see how big I am, do they expect me to jump over them without sitting or kicking them.

Yesterday there was no space in the taxi except for the back seat and there were three ladies sitting already and I really wanted to get home because it was late so I made my way to the back, they see me coming but none of them move an inch, I got there without greeting them or saying excuse me and I sat on their thighs, the bickering that went on because of what I just did, I took my money out of my bag to pay the driver and carried on like nothing happened, I can imagine how painful their thighs must have been but that will teach them for next time to shift up

Lets not forget about the "Taxi Queens" I would like to believe that we all know that if you are not willing to take money or count it DO NOT! I repeat DO NOT SIT IN THE FRONT.... its a written rule, but no we black people do not learn or listen, we love repeating our mistakes, now some of you love inconveniencing us.

Then you get the "Acting all rich but poor" types of people, yes we can see you've got a Blackberry and  a purse full of money, so what must happen now that you have flashed what you have, you are still broke like the rest of us.

I still don't get the forward people when someone is texting or chatting to their people and their eyes cant get off your phone, I remember my friend telling me that if someone is staring at your conversations, I should write "Friend this snake in my bag is moving too much and I am scared it is going to get out of the bag" and then see how the person is going to jump out of that taxi LOL!!!!

Please do not sit in a taxi like you own it, one day you will get someone that will tell you shit and you wont like it.
