Characteristics Of A Good Man

I hate being asked "so what do you look for in a guy" because if I had to start talking I could go on forever and ever amen!!! There are so many qualities I look for in a man not only his looks because looks can fade away, so I decided to just write down a few of the things I look for in a guy just for future reference in case someone asks me this AGAIN I'll just give them a link to this blog.

1. Faithful

I still believe that there are guys out there that are faithful, if my man is not faithful I would rather have him break up with me than cheat on me, if we're not working out tell me there and now, being second best is not my goal in life.

2. Honesty

"Honesty is the best policy" I want a man that is truthful not only to me but to others as well, if he is quick to lie to everybody else with a straight face in front of me, I might just doubt him when he tells me the truth.

3. Financially Stable

I don't want a man that is rich or makes a lot of money, one that brags and flaunts his money around, all I want is a nigga that handles his money well, if hes on a budget I want to see that he does not waste it but once in a while as a girl I want a man that would put aside money to spoil me.

4. Sense of Humor

This one is the one I look for most in a guy, I love a man that can make me laugh, I wouldn't handle being in a relationship with someone that has no sense of humor, someone that does not know the meaning of laughter!! and I heard that laughter makes one lose weight, so he better know how to make me laugh.

5. Easy Going

I want someone that I can feel at ease around, someone that makes me feel comfortable when I am with him, someone that I can talk to about whatever and whenever.

6. Respectful

I want a man that has manners, that knows how a lady is supposed to be treated, a man that respects himself and the people around him, having a man that is unnecessarily rude to others is a big turn off.

7. Family Orientated

My family is important and they come first, I want a man that has family values, he may not have the richest or best family but he needs to show me that he loves and respects his family to bits, if he knows what is family he will know never to ask me to choose between him and my family because he might just not like the answer.

8. Driven

I am not looking to date a taxi driver or toilet cleaner, You want someone that is always trying to do better and is driven to try harder at everything he does. That means he will always try his best to please you, I want someone with goals and ambition.

9. Loving in public

I want a man that is not afraid to say "I love you" in public, someone that is not afraid to be touchy with me, someone that hugs, kisses and tickles me etc.

10. Believer

I am not saying be a saint, but I need a man that knows how to pray, I want a man that believes in God, someone that has faith.

These are the few things that I look for in a man and I hope I find a man that has everything that I have mentioned here and if not, MORE!!!
